Ewa by Gentry homes for sale
Ewa by Gentry was conceived by developer Tom Gentry in the 1980's. Sugar cane plantations on Oahu were shutting down and Ewa by Gentry homes were built on the land. Construction of homes at Ewa by Gentry began in the late 1980's. Gentry Development Company continues to build homes today.
Homes at Ewa by Gentry are affordable by Oahu standards. On an island where the median home price is over $600,000, Ewa by Gentry offers first-time home buyers nice, relatively new homes in the $400,000 - $500,000 price range.
Military personnel find the neighborhood convenient because the homes are big enough for their families and close to military bases such as Hickam, Pearl Harbor and Fort Shafter.

The highest priced sale was $880,000 for a four bedroom three bath home at Ewa by Gentry Cypress Point built in 2006. The average home sale price for all of Ewa by Gentry was $455,227 in 2012.
