Palolo homes sold in the fourth quarter of 2012
Eleven homes sold in Palolo Valley during the three months ending December 31, 2012. Selling prices ranged from $439,000 for a two bedroom one bath home on 10th Avenue to $100,000 for a six bedroom, three bath home also located on 10th Ave.
The average days on market (DOM) were 36 and Palolo homes sold at 100% of their list prices on average. Prices of Palolo homes averaged $664,363 during this period. The typical size of these homes sold was 1,483 square feet interior and 5,781 square feet of land.
Location of Palolo Valley
Palolo Valley is sandwiched in between Saint Louis Heights on the west and Wilhelmina Rise on the right. Just below Palolo, Waialae Avenue marks its border with Kaimuki. On the other side of the Koolau mountain range is Maunawili, a neighborhood in Kailua.
The main routes into Palolo Valley are Palolo Avenue and 10th Avenue. The two avenues connect near the top and La'i Road continues up the mountain. From Kaimuki, 6th Avenue leads to Palolo. Palolo Avenue begins at Waialae Avenue, where the McDonalds and 76 gas station are located.
